If you have landed here as a student of cosmetology, a professional in the field, a science enthusiast, or simply someone looking for reliable information about skin, care, and a therapeutic approach to cosmetology — I welcome you wholeheartedly. This place was created with you in mind.
My name is Anna Kołodziejczak. Cosmetology is not just my job; it is my environment, my daily life, my path. For over a decade, I have been combining scientific, educational, and clinical activities, striving to build a bridge between theory and practice — and that is exactly the goal of this site.
Why was this site created?
I needed a space where I could share knowledge unrestricted by academic boundaries. Knowledge from experience, practice, and conversations with students and patients. A space where I can be closer to you than just from behind a lectern in a lecture or the cover of a book.
This is not a classic business card website. You won’t find just my CV here. You will find something much more vibrant — an educational space that I needed when I started my journey in cosmetology. I create this place because I believe that wise cosmetology is one that not only heals the skin but also develops the mind and builds relationships.

A few words about me — who I am and where I come from
I hold a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences and am a cosmetologist. I completed my bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral studies at the Medical University of Łódź — all with honors. I have been professionally associated with this university for over a decade, currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Cosmetology and Aesthetic Dermatology.
On a daily basis, I teach students, write scientific articles, speak at conferences, consult patients in Łódź clinics, and also… respond to dozens of messages that come to me from social media. It was these messages that prompted me to create this site — many of you asked about consultations, recommended resources, and professional advice. Now all of this has its place.
I am also the creator and main author of the series “Cosmetology” — a three-volume compendium published by PZWL. When I was writing the first pages, I had no idea that the book would become so important to so many people. Yet — it is thanks to it that I started receiving signals that we need more. More education, more reliability, more space to ask questions.

What will you find on this site?
This site is a response to the need for access to knowledge that does not end with lecture notes. It is a place created for those who want to understand cosmetology more deeply — from the perspective of skin, human, and science. Two main forms of collaboration are already available here, which I am gradually developing:
1. Individual consultations
You know what surprised me the most? The number of messages I receive from students, cosmetologists, and people interested in skin therapy. “Ms. Anna, can I send you a case?”, “I have a doubt in interpreting indications”, “I am working on a publication and don’t know how to approach the sources.”
I am unable to respond to everything privately — but I can meet with you for an online consultation. During such a meeting, we discuss what is important to you: patients, diagnoses, doubts, development directions, scientific ideas. Consultations last 50 minutes and take place on Zoom or by phone. After purchasing the meeting, I will contact you personally to determine the scope and date.
This is not a lecture — it is a conversation. And it often brings more value than many trainings.
2. Academy of Cosmetology (coming soon)
This is a project I am creating for those who want to develop wisely and without unnecessary chaos. The Academy of Cosmetology is a space for online courses, webinars, recordings, and materials that will be available in a convenient format and concluded with a certificate.
I know that there are many trainings available on the market — but I also know how often they lack a scientific foundation, educational structure, and real applicability. That’s why I am creating my own programs. Based on research, my clinical experience, and the questions that most often come to me.
Importantly — if you have already purchased my book “Cosmetology”, after sending proof of purchase, you will receive a discount on selected trainings. This is a way to appreciate those who invest in their knowledge from valuable sources.
Publications that build the foundation
One of the pillars of this site is the tab “Publications”. You will find my complete scientific bibliography there — both articles from international journals and expert studies published in Poland. I have gathered them in one place not just to list them. I want you to have access to them, to be able to refer to them in your studies, in your thesis, presentations, or in preparations for working with patients.
I always say: scientific knowledge is not just prestige and scoring. It is a tool that protects us from mistakes. If cosmetology is to be professional, it must be based on facts — not on opinions from internet forums. That is why I place such great importance on transparency, sources, and citations. If any of the publications interest you — click “Read” and go directly to the source.

Blog – a place for discussions and updates
This section, where you currently are, holds special significance for me. The blog is my space to share knowledge in real-time — less formal than a scientific publication, but still reliable and based on experience.
I will address topics that most often arise in consultations, on Instagram, or in conversations with students. I will write about skincare, myths in cosmetology, professional and scientific work, how to write a master’s thesis, how to communicate with patients, how to look for trainings that have value. There will also be guest posts, maybe interviews, maybe thematic series — we’ll see. But one thing I can promise: this blog will be specific, human, and substantive.
Cosmetology in numbers – a book that changes perspectives
The book that started it all – “Kosmetologia” – has its own dedicated section. By visiting the page Kosmetologia in numbers, you will learn details about the entire series: the thematic scope, the way it is developed, the list of authors, and reader reviews. This is not just a promotion of the book – it is a source of information about what you can gain from it as a student, cosmetologist, or educator.
I know that purchasing a book is an investment. That’s why I have prepared additional materials that will be available only to holders of the textbook. This is a way for the book to live longer than just during the exam session – and for you to revisit it even when you are already working in the profession.
Shop – only verified content
In the Shop section, you will be able to purchase not only the book but also online training, webinar recordings, and in the future, original educational materials. I want this shop to be different from all others – without random products, without empty promises, without “certificates for attendance.”
Every material that appears here goes through my internal quality filter: would I want this as a student? Would I use it in the office? Would I link to it in a scientific article? If the answer is “yes” – the material makes it to the offer.
Who is this site created for?
Although I work professionally with a very diverse range of people, I know well who most often comes to me. And I also know that it is for these people that I create this space:
🧑🎓 Cosmetology student
You have hundreds of questions in your mind, but you don’t always have someone to ask them. Not everything you hear in class is understandable. Sometimes you feel that you want to know more than “what is on the exam.” This site will help you deepen your knowledge, organize it, and feel that you are not alone on this journey.
💼 Experienced cosmetologist
You already have your own office, clients, and many daily decisions. But you feel that some cases are more challenging, and the available knowledge is too simplified. You are looking for a deeper understanding of mechanisms, dermatology, and modern therapeutic methods. You want to learn – but wisely. You are in the right place.
🎓 Educator, lecturer
You train others, teach in a school, perhaps at a university. You have a responsibility – and you want to convey knowledge honestly, reliably, with respect for the facts. This site is a place where you can find source materials, inspiration, and a modern approach to teaching.
🤝 Industry collaborators
Maybe you are a pharmacist, maybe you work in PR for a cosmetics company, or perhaps you are a dermatologist who wants to understand the cosmetic approach. If you are looking for a substantive partner for discussion – you are also welcome here. I would be happy to conduct an interview with you or establish another form of collaboration.
What’s next? My plans for the future
I know that this site is just the beginning. I have plans for:
- Expanding the Akademia Kołodziejczak with new thematic modules,
- Webinar recordings available 24/7,
- Additional materials for those who have purchased books or courses,
- Expanding the blog with interviews with experts and research analyses,
- Maybe even… creating a mentoring platform.
I don’t want to promise too much at once – but I know one thing: the development of this site will be as dynamic as you allow me to do with your engagement and presence.
Finally – a few personal words
I am not only a doctor, a lecturer, and an author of books. I am also a wife, a mother of two children, a woman who sometimes falls asleep over her laptop, and who sometimes fears whether she can manage. This site is not my 'content project’ — it is a part of my professional life. And I am very happy to share it with you.
If you are here for the first time – make yourself at home. And if you stay longer – I will be really pleased.
Thank you for being here. See you in the next posts, at consultations, trainings – or simply in the space I am creating with us in mind.
