A COSMETOLOGIST is not a 'treatment executor', but someone who enters into a therapeutic relationship with another person's skin. In developing books and the academy, I primarily thought of cosmetologists who refuse superficiality and randomness — who want to understand, analyze, and be responsible for their therapeutic choices.
